GOD MOTHER
Following two self-released EP’s and a critically acclaimed full length recording, God Mother has signed to Party Smasher Inc. records, home of The Dillinger Escape Plan, Giraffe Tongue Orchestra, and Primitive Weapons.
Across 14 tracks, God Mother’s 2017 Party Smasher Inc. debut, “Vilseledd,” packs hardcore, grind, sludge, and noise into lethal projectiles and was hailed by Metal Injection as an album that “will fuck you up”.
A four-piece powerhouse, from the depths of the Swedish hardcore underground, ‘God Mother’ has been a rising force since its inception in 2012, having toured extensively with acts such as Cult Leader, The Number 12 Looks Like You and The Dillinger Escape Plan.
ILENKUS
Hailing from Galway, Ireland, Ilenkus straddle a gritty line between metal and hardcore. The band have shared stages with bands like Norma Jean, Mutoid Man and Employed To Serve. 2016’s ‘Hunger’ is Ilenkus’s third release and took their music in a darker and more violent direction. The EP contains four short, chaotic and cathartic bursts of grinding post metal. Released on 7” vinyl by a group of small European DIY labels, ‘Hunger’ is 14 minutes of controlled noise and raw energy and touted by Metal Sucks as “a nut grabbing explosion of raw violence”
THIRD ISLAND
Third Island is a post metal band formed in 2015 and based in Limerick, Ireland. Drawing from a wide array of influences including doom, post rock, shoegaze, sludge, and stoner rock, the band aims to create a unique sound blending huge guitars tones and dark atmospheres.
In the summer of 2016 Third Island released their debut EP “Dusk”. Based on themes of nightmares and sleep disorders, the EP aims to bring the listener on a journey through insomnia and fear.
Third Island is currently writing new material, promoting the EP, and preparing for live shows.
